About the role
The Supplier Quality Engineer concentrates on all aspects of supplier management supplier process & material changes. This role provides technical support for product manufacturing lines. The Supplier Engineering Team is responsible for the pending Component Qualifications.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Execution of component qualifications for product manufacturing lines.
- Foster open and transparent communication with suppliers to ensure mutual understanding of expectations and objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality Assurance Manufacturing and Regulatory to align supplier/component performance with company goals.
- Participates in large-scale projects or leads smaller-scale projects under guidance from senior engineering staff.
- Plans schedules conducts or coordinates detailed phases of the engineering work in a part of a major project or a total project of moderate scope.
- Interfaces with suppliers with support cross-functional team members to support the investigation of supplied material issues or supply constraints.
Required qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in engineering sciences or related field.
- 3 years of relevant work experience as a Supplier Engineer or similar.
- Proficiency in statistical tools such as Minitab.
- Proficiency in report writing skills.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working in a regulated environment per ISO13485 and FDA guidelines.
