Job Summary

The NFL Media group is seekinga versatile digital producer and editor with advanced skills in After Effects Photoshop and Premiere. The Digital Video Editor a part-time role based in the NFL Los Angeles building adjacent to Sofi Stadium in Inglewood CA is responsible for executing daily deliverables for NFL Media-operated YouTube channels using game highlights NFL research and custom role will support a variety of elements related to the NFLs presence on YouTube with a primary focus on high-end video storytelling that engages NFL audiences across the globe.

Responsibilities

  • Produce and edit a variety of NFLstorylines from around the league crafting them in ways to best resonate with the NFL audience
  • Manage the storytelling behind each original video production to ensure it is clear concise and tailored to NFL fans on YouTube.
  • Design build and animate various graphics and elements for NFL videos on YouTube and other digital platforms.
  • Work independently to monitor YouTube consumption trends via YouTube Studio and leverage platform analytics to inform content production topics and publish schedules.
  • Collaborate with NFL Research and Next Gen Stats production teams to identify key data trends that help tell stories about NFL players and games.
  • Independently identify new opportunities for content creation based on new or existing product features on YouTube.
  • Collaborate closely with NFL Media and NFL Team content organizations for production collaboration opportunities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in journalism broadcast media web production or related field preferred

Other Key Attributes / Characteristics

  • 3 years of relevant experience in production environment working with digital/ social media platforms
  • Exhibitdeep knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud Suite including advanced skills in using Premiere After Effects and Photoshop
  • Experience editing high-end content for social/ digital platforms with a key focus on longform YouTube videos.
  • Must follow and have thorough knowledge of the National Football League associated events and storylines
  • Must be able to take complex stories and concisely tell them to our fans
  • Must be adaptable and able to work quickly under short deadlines
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills

Terms / Expected Hours of Work

  • Part-time 29 hours/week

Salary / Pay Range
