Product Owner

Expression is seeking a Product Owner to join our development team in either Washington DC. As the Product Owner you will translate user and stakeholder requirements into a clear product vision. You will create and maintain a product roadmap prioritize features and ensure delivery aligns with business goals and client needs. Acting as the voice of the client you will guide our development team through the product lifecycle in an agile environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Define and communicate a product vision and roadmap including capability releases and long-term evolution.

• Translate the roadmap into agile user stories and guide prioritization of the product backlog.

• Serve as the advocate for client and stakeholder needs throughout the product development lifecycle.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teamsincluding project management software development and quality assuranceto deliver high-value solutions.

• Define user acceptance criteria and validate implemented solutions.

• Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning backlog grooming daily stand-ups and retrospectives.

• Coordinate schedules delivery timelines and release management with team leaders.

• Build subject matter expertise around the product line and relevant industry or market trends.

• Develop strong relationships and communication with internal stakeholders and end users.

Required Experience

• Active Secret Clearance required (with ability to apply for TS/SCI).

• Proven experience as a Product Owner Product Manager or similar role in a technical or software development environment.

• Strong understanding of agile methodologies and product lifecycle management.

• Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into product features and requirements.

• Excellent communication leadership and stakeholder management skills.
