We are looking for a detail-oriented Localization Vendor Coordinator to support our global content and product localization this role you will work closely with the Localization Program Manager to manage vendor relationships track project deliverables and ensure our localization vendors meet quality cost and timeline requirements. This position requires strong organizational skills excellent communication and the ability to coordinate multiple projects and markets in a fast-paced environment.
Role is based in San Mateo CA and will report to Sr. Manager Localization
You will:
- Support the Localization Program Manager in vendor onboarding performance tracking and relationship management.
- Coordinate project assignments with vendors ensuring deadlines budgets and quality standards are met.
- Monitor vendor capacity workload distribution and response times.
- Maintain and update vendor records including contracts NDAs rate cards and compliance documentation.
- Assist in evaluating vendor performance through KPIs feedback collection and periodic reviews.
- Troubleshoot vendor-related issues and escalate risks to the Localization Program Manager.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align vendor support with project needs.
- Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process optimization in vendor workflows.
- Assist with RFPs vendor evaluations and negotiations.
- Maintain vendor databases glossaries style guides and workflow documentation.
You have:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Localization Linguistics Project Management or related field.
- 3 years of experience in localization vendor management or project coordination (preferably in a global environment).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with sharp attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with cross-cultural awareness.
- Familiarity with localization tools (e.g. TMS CAT tools QA systems) is a plus.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with diverse teams.
