Job Summary

As a Senior Java Developer you will design and code the next generation of the fixed income trading platform. This is a great opportunity to work with a team of gifted engineers focused on implementing the best ideas practices and technology.

This opportunity is a Right-to-Hire opportunity beginning as a consulting opportunity with expected conversion to a permanent employee within the first year.

Requirements:

Senior IT developer / architect with over 10 years of experience in Java/J2EE enterprise application development.
Minimum of 4 years experience in the Fixed Income Industry
Must have strong knowledge of fixed income securities trading or operational processing.
The candidate must have Java experience including Core Java JavaScript GWT or other web client framework J2EE Oracle PL/SQL Stored Procedures and JDBC.
Skilled in physical and logical data modeling techniques for optimal performance and data analysis using SQL
Deeply familiar with financial reporting on asset allocation equities bond holdings portfolio performance fixed income and risk analysis.
Must be a hands on tech leader who can lead the team and be an expert technical resource.
Experienced working as the liaison between business and technology.
