Job Description
POSITION TITLE:Bus Driver Substitute
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or G.E.D. required
- Must be able to read and follow a series of directions or instructions.
- Must be able to lift turn twist and bend on a frequent basis.
- Must be able to push and pull a minimum of 60 lbs. on a frequent basis.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Class B CDL required (on-site training available).
- Must pass DOT Physical and pre-employment drug and alcohol screen.
REPORTS TO:Director of Transportation
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Student management.
- Pre-trip and post-trip bus inspections daily.
- Maintain and clean the interior of the bus.
- Maintain an up-to-date seating chart.
- Report behavorial issues to bus discipline supervisor.
- Attend required driver trainings.
