Job Overview:

As a Finance and Insurance Consultant you will play a vital role in assisting customers with financing and insurance options for their vehicle purchases. You will work closely with customers to understand their financial needs and provide expert guidance on available financing plans and protection packages. Your goal is to ensure the customers have a clear understanding of their options and make informed decisions that meet their budget and protection requirements.

Earnings Potential:

The wage range for this role is $125000.00 to $175000.00 annual. This is just one part of our total rewards package which additionally includes performance bonuses for eligible roles commissions and competitive benefits.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly and professionally.
  • Conduct thorough consultations with customers to understand their financial situation preferences and vehicle requirements.
  • Explain various financing options including loans leases and special financing programs clearly outlining terms rates and payment plans.
  • Present insurance options such as vehicle protection plans extended warranties and gap insurance and help customers select appropriate coverage based on their needs.
  • Collaborate with lenders and insurance providers to secure competitive rates and terms for customers.
  • Conducts business in an ethical and professional manner while completing all necessary paperwork accurately and efficiently ensuring compliance with dealership and regulatory requirements.
  • Completes all paperwork necessary for vehicle sales and leases in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Ensures collection of all finance and insurance fees.
  • Reviews all paperwork for correct title lien information taxes etc. before forwarding to accounting department for completion.
  • Works closely with the sales team to ensure 100% turnover from sales to finance that assist with a seamless transition from vehicle selection to financing and insurance arrangements.
  • Stays updated on industry trends financing programs and insurance products to offer the most relevant and beneficial options to customers.
  • Provides sales team with current information about finance and lease programs being offered by financial institutions.
  • Attends ongoing training at various sites throughout the year as needed.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Previous F&I automotive experience or two years of sales experience preferred.
  • Must have knowledge of federal state and local regulations that affect the new and used vehicle sales and finance departments.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to build rapport and trust with customers to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Knowledge of financing options lending practices and insurance products relevant to the automotive industry.
  • Must have the ability to establish productive and cooperative relationships with customers vendors co-workers and management.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in using finance and insurance software applications and Microsoft Office productivity tools with the ability to manage files and records while maintaining a high level of confidentiality.
  • Commitment to maintaining high ethical standards and compliance with regulatory guidelines.
  • Ability to travel to other Company or Manufacturer locations for training and other relevant courses as required.
  • Must maintain a valid drivers license for occasional travel requirements.
  • Must maintain a professional appearance and manner consistent with our culture.
