Job Description
AEITS Inc. a GTSC company is growing its team! Seeking a System Administrator to support our customer in the Annapolis Junction MD area.
Location: Annapolis Junction Maryland
All work is on-site. This is not a hybrid or remote position.
Schedule: Wed-Sun 4am-12pm (Training upon hire: M-F 6am-2pm)
Mission: As a System Administrator supporting this government program your mission will be to provide technical support and troubleshooting to network desktop and/or systems hardware and software.
Requirements:
U.S. Citizenship
Active TS/SCI with polygraph
Fifteen years of relevant experience and a high school/GED graduate OR a bachelors degree with 10 years of relevant experience.
System Administration services professional experienced with:
Hardware
Remote Assistance
Remote DesktopAbility to work on call rotation as needed.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be a self-starter with strong attention to detail.
Certifications:
- IAT Level 1: CompTIA A CE and/or CompTIA Network CE; training is not sufficient to meet CE requirement.
You are responsible for:
Provides technical support and troubleshooting to network desktop and/or systems hardware and software.
May coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionals.
Applies basic diagnostic techniques to identify problems investigate causes and recommend solutions.
Provides remote support access through desktop mirroring and other remote access applications for worldwide sites.
Identify investigate resolve and follow-up problems brought to the helpdesk by users of cloud infrastructure.
Meet set service level agreements.
Education and Required Qualification
Bachelors degree with a technical focus is and 10 years of demonstrated relevant experience OR
High-School Diploma or GED and 15 years of demonstrated relevant experience.
Travel
- Less than 10% travel may occur.
