About This Role:
iRhythm is seeking a System Test Co-op (6 month) to join our team working on innovative cardiac monitoring this role youll help ensure the safety reliability and performance of our wearable device and its supporting software and infrastructure. Youll collaborate with engineers run tests and report results and play a key role in delivering high-quality products that improve patient lives.
This position is in San Francisco CA and the role is hybrid where you will work in the office 4 days/week or more as needed to use hardware and electrical lab equipment.
What Youll Do
- Use requirements for our medical device and software to write test cases that check both whether the features work as intended and whether they can fail under certain conditions.
- Confirm that the software tools we use in development and testing (but that arent part of the medical device itself) work correctly and reliably.
- Record and share your test results in a clear way (for example in reports or Jira tickets) so the team can easily understand the issue and take action.
- Look into problems try to reproduce them and test fixes to make sure the issue is really resolved before release.
What Were Looking For
- Pursuing a degree in Biomedical Engineering Electrical Engineering Computer Science Computer Engineering or related field.
- Hands-on experience with electrical equipment (oscilloscopes power supplies DMMs etc.).
- Able to share ideas clearly and work both on your own and with teammates from different areas.
Bonus Points
- Prior experience in medical devices or another regulated industry.
- Scripting or programming skills (e.g. Python SQL) and familiarity with software development processes

Estimated Pay Range
$30 - $40 per hour
