| Job Summary/Basic Function: | The Student Engagement and Mentorship Coordinator position in the College of Engineering plays a key role in preparing students for workforce success through hands-on learning student organization support and industry-connected programming. This position leads first-year support initiatives and oversees college-level student clubs and professional organizations ensuring alignment with safety protocols leadership development and experiential learning goals. The coordinator partners with departments faculty and industry representatives to deliver impactful student events including industry mentorship opportunities and networking experiences that connect students with professionals and alumni. Additionally the role supports prospective student engagement by managing college tour programming leading the Engineering & Science Festival and coordinating with university admissions and college departments to deliver tailored quality visit experiences. The position also supervises a team of peer ambassadors who support daily operations peer support and mentorship and visit coordination through the Micron Student Success Center. |

| MinimumQualifications: | Bachelors Degree and 2 years of professional experience or equivalent relevant experience. |
Preferred Qualifications: | Masters degree in higher education or other field related to student success work. Minimum of two years of experience coordinating large scale events or similar activities in a higher education setting |
