Job Summary
Join the team at the beautifully appointed Marriott Orlando Downtown located in the heart of Creative Village. Our full-service hotel features 297 guest rooms with skyline views 15992 sq. ft. of meeting space an on-site Starbucks Shade Bar and Grill a fitness center and an outdoor pool. We are currently seeking a friendly and detail-orientedM Club Attendantto enhance our guests dining experience in our exclusive M Club Lounge.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure tables are properly set with clean sparkling tableware
- Support servers hosts/hostesses and managers throughout the dining experience
- Greet and seat guests in the absence of a host/hostess
- Demonstrate knowledge of menu items ingredients and preparation methods
- Deliver food and beverages to guests ensuring correct placement
- Provide helpful and informed menu guidance to guests
- Refill water glasses and assist with clearing tables during service
- Maintain cleanliness of tables chairs floors and side stations
- Stock side stations with silverware glassware napkins and other essentials
- Complete end-of-shift side work and maintain a clean organized work area
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures including proper use of PPE and equipment
Work Environment / Physical Demands:
- Standing during majority of shift
- Regularly required to lift reach with hands and arms use fingers (keyboard etc.) to handle or feel.
- Lifting requirements of up to 20 pounds.
- Use of the telephone (hearing & speaking)
- Working in café/kitchen on tiled flooring; kitchen conditions may be hot; floor may be slippery (appropriate footwear required)
- Direct contact with guests managers and employees.
