Hours Per Week: 37.5 hours
Schedule: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM or 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM with every other weekend
SUMMARY:
Provides a full range of environmental services which include but are not limited to the cleaning of patient care environments through routine cleaning equipment cleaning floor/wall cleaning trash removal and bio hazardous waste. Helps maintain a clean comfortable and secure environment for patients visitors and staff. The ES Aide provides support and service to all staff and performs all duties in compliance with specific hospital requirements. Provide superior customer service by modeling the Brand Promise and Core Values. Environmental Service is the main defense against serious infections that may linger on surfaces throughout a medical facility. Collaboration between infection prevention and environmental services (EVS) staff limits the prospect of disease transmission within the healthcare environment.

M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking standing or squatting.For disease specific care programs refer to the program specific requirements of the department for further specifications on experience and educational expectations including continuing education requirements.

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience relevant qualifications specialty internal equity location and contracts.
