Senior Oncology Staff Nurse
Brighton Hospital Nursing Permanent contract Full time Includes weekend work
Up to 48000 per annum depending on experience
37.5 hours per week

As a Senior Oncology Staff Nurse in our hospital youll be attentive driven detail-oriented and empathetic.Youre registered with the appropriate governing body and you bring the qualifications and experience relevant to your registration including NMC. With post-registration experience youre a team player with a passion for exceptional patient care.
As a Senior Oncology Staff Nurse you will:
Have experience in Oncology and have a UKONS SACT passport (or equivalent)
Be proficient in phlebotomy cannulation and accessing Central Venous Access Devices
Be a valued addition to the team in our consultant and nurse-led service
Work with patients receiving chemotherapy or new treatments such as immunotherapy
Fully assess each patients needs providing tailored treatment plans and care
Administer systemic anti-cancer therapies (SACT)
Assist consultants during clinics
Provide care for Acute Oncological emergencies
Collaborate with the Multidisciplinary Team (MDT Team)

Our facilities include 44 purpose built en-suite rooms three operating theatres and an endoscopy theatre. Other facilities include physiotherapy health screening diagnostics and a dental suite. We are located in Woodingdean on the east side of Brighton with easy access by rail and road including free parking
