Job Summary
We are hiring for Sr Software Engineers for a client that is based in Marina Bay Singapore
This is a hybrid role that follows a Dayshift Schedule (9 AM)
Salary is up to 12K monthly based on experience
At least 7 years of solid hands on Software Development Experience is required with the below:
- Must be based in Singapore or has Permanent Resident visa
- Strong SQL
- Strong Java and/or Python
- Experience in any front end development language (JavaScript HTML CSS)
- Experience in cloud - preferably AWS
- CI/CD pipelines
A Senior Software Engineer is a mid-level professional focused on leading the design and implementation of inhouse-built or in the integration of third-party software solutions (incl. software-as-a-service) used by our business teams. You will find yourself involved in the entire development lifecycle starting with the support of the business analysis phase up to production deployment and 3rd level operations support.
Engineers in these roles should be generalists with the following skills -
- Strong SQL capabilities.
- Experience in designing data models and optimizing code.
- Proficiency in either Python or Java (at least one language).
- Ability to work independently and understand broader solution design.
Engineers should have a clear understanding of:
- Best Development practices
- SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle)
- CI/CD pipelines
- Firewall configurations and deployment in secure environments
- Scripting Java and Python expertise familiarity with Spring Boot Hibernate PostgreSQL and
- Microservices is valuable.
- Understanding of ECS Fargate and Linux
