We are representing a leading international school in Milan seeking an energetic curious and collaborative English Language and Literature teacher for Middle and High School. This role focuses on English Language & Literature within IB MYP IGCSE and ideally IB Diploma. It is not an ESL/EAL position; applications focused on ESL will not be considered.
Teach English Language & Literature across Middle and High School including IB MYP and/or IGCSE with the ability to teach IB Diploma Language & Literature an advantage.
Plan engaging inquiry-driven lessons assess learning effectively and provide clear feedback.
Contribute to curriculum development and standardisation across the department.
Work collaboratively with colleagues in a multilingual multicultural environment.
Support the wider life of the school through pastoral care and co-curricular activities.
Degree in English or a closely related field.
Recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE BEd state licensure).
Recent successful experience teaching MYP and/or IGCSE; IB Diploma experience strongly preferred.
Skilled classroom practitioner: organised reflective and motivated by challenge.
Values international education student inquiry and project-based learning.
Confident working with multilingual learners; strong communication and team ethos.
