Job Description

Reporting to the QA/QC Leader the successful co-op student will be responsible for verifying and measuring incoming parts flagged for inspection to ensure company standards are met and specifications are matched against engineering drawings. The co-op student will also work with team members on calibrating shop equipment.
Work Term: Winter 2026 (Jan - April) - 4 Months
Work Arrangement: Day Shift On-Site 5 days per week (Mon - Fri)

Responsibilities
- Approval of finished products for shipment involving visual verification mechanical inspection and electrical testing
- Calibration of mechanical and electrical instrument measuring equipment
- Participate when necessary in troubleshooting and problem-solving
- Read and interpret part and assembly drawings
- Collaborate with assemblers and production personnel on quality inspections
- Record and maintain inspection and calibration records
- Collect and summarize quality reports monthly
Qualifications
- Pursuing a degree/diploma in Mechanical/Electromechanical Engineering or Quality Assurance
- Available and eligible to work a 4 Month Co-op Work Term for the Winter 2026 term
- A team player
- Excellent communication skills
- Keen interest in design and manufacturing
- Some manufacturing experience is an asset
