Westwood Professional Services Inc. is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern to join our Water Resources team in our Englewood Colorado office. Westwood has a highly experienced and dynamic team of individuals dedicated to providing high-level professional services to our clients.

• Prepares preliminary analysis on a variety of technical tasks
• Project research field work observation and preliminary design calculations
• Take personal responsibility for quality of tasks performed
• Uses CAD to prepare and check working drawings details layouts and estimates
• Performs routine analysis to check accuracy of data and work products
• Assist in the preparation of exhibits plot plans lot fits or other similar tasks by discipline

• Demonstrates willingness to accept new challenges and learn specialized field
• Growing knowledge of profession as demonstrated by involvement in related professional organizations and professional development programs
• Basic knowledge of the firms policies practices and procedures
• Basic knowledge of software required for position
• Good organizational skills
• Able to follow general directions and work with limited independence on basic computations

• Currently working towards completion of a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering
