Job Summary

Are you an Electrical Engineer ready to make an impact on the energy industry We are seeking a motivated and experienced Electrical Engineer III to lead the design optimization and safety of electrical systems that power critical infrastructure including pipelines compressor stations and storage facilities.

This is a high-visibility role where youll apply your expertise in power distribution automation real-time monitoring and energy storage to enhance reliability and efficiency across operations. Youll also play a key role in ensuring safety compliance and innovation while mentoring junior engineers and managing complex projects from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design implementation and optimization of electrical systems supporting natural gas and energy infrastructure.
Integrate advanced technologies such as automation real-time monitoring and energy storage to drive efficiency.
Implement safety systems including arc flash mitigation fault detection and compliance with NEC NEMA API and IEEE codes.
Deliver technical expertise in electrical schematics layouts and power distribution for both new projects and upgrades.
Manage engineering projects from Pre-FEED FEED through EPC ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align solutions with business needs and customer requirements.
Mentor and support junior engineers to promote knowledge sharing and professional growth.

Qualifications

Required:

Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering.
4 years of engineering experience in natural gas energy or data centers.
Strong knowledge of electrical design codes (NEC NEMA API IEEE).
Ability to review and implement arc flash studies and improvements.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general PC skills.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with a safety-first mindset.

Preferred:

Masters degree in Electrical Engineering.
Professional Engineer (PE) License.
Project management experience.
Experience with PLCs HMI systems and instrumentation design.
Background in Pre-FEED FEED or EPC phases of engineering projects.
