JOB OVERVIEW

Design new software applications. Conceive experiment with and present architectural approaches for platform components software applications including web client server and others. Design new operating system components. Ensure architectural integrity and consistency across the entire product.

Proactively identifies defines makes recommendations and solves problems that impact the management and direction of the business. Interprets internal or external business issues and recommends solutions/best practices.

WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR

Were looking for experienced architects to help us transition our SaaS applications to highly scalable loosely coupled application ecosystems leveraging cloud native technologies. As a software architect you will lead the charge to deliver high-quality performant and secure software that provides value to our customers.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

We will lean on your knowledge to help guide decisions on new development initiatives. You will have the opportunity to participate in drafting and implementing architectural proposals for these initiatives. As a member of our Architecture Leadership team you will contribute to the modernization planning for the future of Net Health applications. You will also mentor other developers as they learn modern technologies and architecture patterns in a collaborative team-oriented atmosphere. You will prioritize the right approach to a problem such as applying Domain Driven Design principles or employing an event driven architecture.

Our software architects typically possess around 10 years of development experience and have a track record of delivering robust technical solutions in an Agile environment. You should feel comfortable leveraging your skills and expertise to help mentor less experienced team members on best practices. We value ownership and will look to you to promote this concept in your teams functional area.

ABOUT NET HEALTH

Our current stack is based with SQL Server. As we migrate to smaller components there will be opportunities to incorporate new technologies and different approaches into the stack and we will be looking to you for ideas and leadership towards the right tools for the particular were focusing on rebuilding for the cloud using Azure PaaS (including Web Apps and Functions) Docker PostgreSQL Azure AD and Terraform in addition to our current stack.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Education bachelors degree or equivalent
Minimum YOE 4 years of relevant experience with typically 10 years of development experience
SaaS provider in the healthcare space
Agile/scrum with a focus on experimenting inspecting and adapting
We embrace innovation at all levels and encourage ownership

REQUIRED SOFTWARE EXPERIENCE

Service-based software development (such as SaaS Agile)
Modern programming language (such as C# HTML JavaScript SQL)
Current stack: React
Building towards: Azure PaaS (Web Apps Functions) Docker PostgreSQL Azure AD Terraform
Familiarity with Domain Driven Design
Familiarity with medical billing a plus
