Job Summary

Job Title	(Federal Work Study) Prospect Reesearch Technician Student Assistant
Salary	Classification Range $16.50 - $24.00 per hour Anticipated hiring range depending on qualifications not to exceed $16.50.
Department	Central Development
Work Schedule	Between Monday-Friday: 8:00am to 5:00pm
Job Summary	The Prospect Management & Research Student Assistant position entails working in the University Advancement Office at Cal State Fullerton. The department focuses on fundraising and donor relations. We are looking for one student assistant who is detailed-orientated and willing to work 10-20 hours per week. We are looking to start hiring and training as soon as possible and have employment continue throughout the academic school years. This position offers the opportunity to develop skills related to working in an office environment and learning about the behind-the-scenes work that supports Cal State Fullerton Philanthropic Fundraising. A good researcher is curious resourceful analytical knowledge-driven organized and a good communicator is this you Responsibilities: -Assist with research and create donor bios and profiles -Assist staff with Data entry & analysis -Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications	Ability to learn and perform assigned work; follow oral instructions; work cooperatively with faculty staff and other students; communicate effectively with all levels; and read and write English at a level appropriate to the position.
Required Qualifications	Current student at CSUF and is enrolled/registered (fees paid) in a current regular semester as a new or continuing student. Student who has completed the prior semester (has not graduated) or who is registered for the subsequent semester. In good academic standing (not on academic probation continued probation academic dismissal). Student who is authorized to work in the United States and can provide employment eligibility documents.
Background Check	A background check (including a criminal records check) must be completed satisfactorily and is required for this position. CSU will make a conditional offer of employment which may be rescinded if the background check reveals disqualifying information and/or it is discovered that the candidate knowingly withheld or falsified information. Failure to satisfactorily complete the background check may affect the continued employment of a current CSU employee who was conditionally offered the position.
