Are you ready to make a real impact on the cybersecurity of our internal IT systems We are looking for a First Line Information Security Manager who can strengthen our international organization and help us raise the bar in information security.

Your role

As our First Line Information Security Manager you will be responsible for the first line of defense in the 3LoD (Three Lines of Defense) model within this role you will play a key part in protecting and improving information security at Vanderlande. Your responsibilities include:

  • Leading the Security Operations Center (SOC) which manages all internal security incidents.
  • Managing the framework of controls policies processes and procedures related to ICT cybersecurity.
  • Ensuring this framework is aligned with the Global Information Security Office (GISO) and meets compliance requirements.
  • Supporting the ICT organization in putting these policies controls and processes into practice.
  • Carrying out regular security assessments and collecting evidence to check compliance and identify improvements.
  • Working with Enterprise and System Architects to define and maintain ICTs security architecture based on Zero Trust principles.
  • Helping to develop and roll out security awareness programs and training.

Your department

Vanderlande is a fast-growing international company known for its innovative material handling systems for airports parcel companies and distribution centers.

Youll be part of the Enterprise Architecture and Governance team within ICT. This is a dynamic team that plays a central role in areas such as Cyber Security Enterprise Architecture Data Analytics and IT Asset Management.

Your profile

We are looking for someone with both the right knowledge and the right mindset:

Education & experience

  • Higher education in Information Security or equivalent proven experience at senior level.
  • At least 5 years experience in an Information Security role preferably in an ICT environment.
  • Security certifications such as CISSP CISM CEH or ESCA are a plus.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English.

Knowledge

  • Solid understanding of IT security including frameworks and standards such as NIS2 and ISO27001.
  • Knowledge of IT security architecture including Zero Trust principles.

Soft skills

  • Able to work effectively with colleagues across departments.
  • Skilled at translating high-level security objectives into practical processes and procedures.
  • Confident in deciding when to escalate or de-escalate issues independently.
  • Flexible and quick to adapt to new threats and changes in the security landscape.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced agile environment.
  • Strong personal leadership and proactive mindset always looking for improvements.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to thrive in an international and dynamic environment.

  • Competitive salary: 7.100 8.500 gross per month (excluding 8% holiday allowance).
