Fall 2025 Girls Junior Varsity Soccer Head Coach (Seattle WA)
Stipend Term-Limited Temporary Position
The Bush School is in search of an individual to join our Athletic Department as the Girls JV Soccer Head Coach. We are seeking a candidate who is able to support the schools goals towards building a diverse equitable and inclusive community. We believe that a diversity of experiences backgrounds and talents are necessary to work with a diverse community of students faculty staff and families; we encourage diversity in our applicant pool.
The Bush School athletic program works within the rules of the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association (WIAA) and the Emerald Sound Conference to provide athletic opportunities and competition for students of all gender identities. While most sports are offered separately for boys and girls the Athletic Department staff is committed to working collaboratively with each participant to determine options that best suit each student-athletes journey.
The Girls JV Soccer Head Coach will be planning and executing team practices coaching all scheduled games overseeing inventory of sports equipment and uniforms and driving the team to away games/practice sites on a school vehicle. This position reports directly to the Athletic Director.
The season begins on Monday August 25 2025 and continues until November 2025. Practices take place on Mondays through Fridays at Washington Park Playfield from 3:45pm to 5:30pm; however no longer than two hours on a given day. Matches are typically played on weekday afternoon and occasionally on Saturdays. Coaches meet the players at Bush travel to the match site together and drop the athletes back at school at the end of each day
