Careers in Neonatology: Nurse Practitioner Opportunity

Join a leading healthcare team in Grand Rapids Michigan! We are seeking a passionate and dedicated full-time Nurse Practitioner with neonatology fellowship training to become part of our regional Neonatal Intensive Care team. You will work in a collaborative physician-led environment across our facilities in Grand Rapids and Muskegon Michigan providing outstanding care to neonates.

Location and Facilities:

Grand Rapids Michigan: 15-bed Level III NICU
Muskegon Michigan: 8-bed Level II Special Care Nursery

Job Responsibilities:

Provide direct and indirect patient care to neonates in Level III and Level II NICUs.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams including physicians nurses and therapists.
Participate in teaching and mentoring of junior providers and trainees.
Document patient care and clinical activities in Epic EMR.
Engage in quality improvement initiatives and clinical research as needed.
Support community health programs related to neonatal care.

Qualifications:

Board certified in Neonatal NP prior to employment with a fellowship.
Relevant clinical experience preferred.
Active Michigan state license.
Active DEA registration.
Current ACLS and BLS certifications.

License and Certification Requirements:

Board certified in Neonatology specialty required before employment.
Must have an active Michigan license and DEA.
Current ACLS and BLS certifications required.
