Job Description

Step into the role

As a Requirements Engineer in MilDefs Solutions team you will be responsible for managing requirements throughout the system lifecycle from concept to delivery and maintenance. At Solutions we build and deliver customized IT systems tailored to customer specifications. We turn their IT visions into reality by providing complete and robust infrastructure solutions. You play a crucial role in ensuring that system solutions are developed according to customer needs technical specifications and relevant industry standards. The role requires a structured and analytical approach to ensure that requirements are clear traceable and testable. You will collaborate closely with customers system architects development teams and other stakeholders to ensure well-founded requirements management that supports MilDefs development processes.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify collect and document requirements from internal and external stakeholders
  • Categorize and structure requirements at the system level ensuring traceability between business system and design requirements
  • Conduct stakeholder analysis and requirements gathering to define the correct requirements
  • Collaborate with system architects and development teams to break down requirements into system and subsystem design
  • Support test and verification processes to ensure that system solutions meet defined requirements
  • Contribute to improving and developing MilDefs requirements management processes

What you bring

  • Experience in requirements management within system development preferably in the defense security or electronics industry
  • Understanding of system development processes and requirements management principles according to relevant standards (ISO 15288 IEEE 29148 DO-178C etc.).
  • Experience with requirements management tools such as IBM DOORS Polarion Jama Connect or similar
  • Basic understanding of system architecture and technical specifications
  • Strong analytical and structured skills to break down complex system requirements into manageable units.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to align requirements with customer needs and technical solutions across stakeholders
  • Fluency in Swedish and English both spoken and written
