Director of Emergency Services (Permanent Role) Location: Fort Worth TX 76101
Shift: Variable Shifts - 36 Hours
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and direction for all Emergency Department operations.
- Ensure safe high-quality and cost-effective care delivery.
- Lead develop and mentor ED nursing staff and other clinical team members.
- Develop and manage departmental budgets staffing and resource utilization.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable local state and federal regulations.
- Lead performance improvement initiatives and quality assurance programs.
- Foster collaboration between departments and with medical staff to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Oversee patient flow triage and throughput to ensure timely treatment.
- Implement and monitor policies procedures and best practices for emergency services.
- Participate in strategic planning for emergency services growth and development.
Education & Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree or an approved education plan Required
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) Preferred
- Masters Degree in Nursing Healthcare Administration or related field Preferred
- Current RN license in Texas Required
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of recent Acute Care Emergency Department leadership experience (Director or Manager level) Required
- Proven track record of leading high-performing ED teams and driving improvements in patient care and departmental efficiency.
- Strong understanding of hospital operations emergency protocols and patient safety practices.
