Job Description
Title : Service Delivery Manager
IBM/PayPal
Location : SAN JOSE (Hybrid)
Rate : $94
Need a Service Delivery Manager who should have experience in projects like
- Data warehouse or lake implementations.
- BI and reporting platform rollouts.
- Migration of legacy data systems to the cloud.
- Data governance framework deployment
- Strong understanding of data platforms (e.g. SQL data warehouses cloud technologies like AWS Azure GCP).
- Should have more than 10 years of experience and have extended experience in running projects end to end.
Requirements :
Project Planning & Execution
- Define project scope goals and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans timelines and resource allocations.
- Track progress and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
Team & Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including data engineers data analysts business intelligence and product teams.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders ensuring alignment and transparency.
- Facilitate meetings provide updates and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
Risk & Issue Management
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Resolve project issues and conflicts as they arise escalating when necessary.
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure data governance security and quality standards are adhered to.
- Oversee testing validation and sign-off processes for data products and solutions.
Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain clear documentation of project plans decisions risks and lessons learned.
- Deliver regular status reports and dashboards to senior leadership and stakeholders.
