BI Architect
Experience: 10 years of relevant experience
Location: Chicago IL OR Irving TX (3 days per week onsite)
What s in it for you
We are seeking an experienced BI Architect to lead the design and execution of a Tableau-to-Power BI migration. This role focuses on defining the BI architecture ensuring data integrity and delivering scalable high-performance analytics solutions that align with business objectives.
Skills:
Mandatory:

Strong expertise in Power BI DAX Tabular models and Azure Data Services

Hands-on experience with Tableau and migration projects

In-depth knowledge of data modeling ETL/ELT processes and BI architecture

Proven stakeholder management and communication skills

Experience with Power BI Service Row-Level Security (RLS) and workspace governance
Responsibilities:

Drive the end-to-end migration strategy from Tableau to Power BI.

Define and implement scalable BI architecture using Power BI and Azure.

Partner with business stakeholders to gather reporting needs and translate them into technical solutions.

Optimize data models ensure performance tuning and establish governance practices.

Provide guidance to development teams on best practices for Power BI design DAX and visualization.

Set standards for dashboard migration version control and documentation.

Conduct technical reviews and ensure compliance with enterprise architecture.
Educational Qualifications:

Engineering Degree (BE/ME/BTech/MTech/BSc/MSc)

Technical certifications across multiple technologies are highly desirable
