Responsibilities & Duties:-
- Design fire protection systems including sprinkler systems fire alarms and fire suppression systems.
- Collaborate with other engineering and construction professionals to integrate fire protection systems into building designs.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in fire protection engineering and incorporate new technologies and techniques into designs and systems.
Qualifications & Skills:-
- Bachelors degree in Fire Protection Engineering Mechanical Engineering or a related field required
- Masters degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in fire protection engineering and design.
- Familiarity with NFPA codes and standards.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license in Fire Protection.
- Experience with fire modeling and simulation software.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Membership in professional organizations such as the Society of Fire Protection Engineers (SFPE).
- Strong knowledge of relevant codes standards and regulations including NFPA IBC and OSHA.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders including engineers contractors and building owners.
- Commitment to providing expert engineering solutions to ensure the safety and security of facilities.
Willingness to participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities.
