Senior Audit Associate Audit & Attestation
SF Bay Area Salary Range: $95000 to $105000 DOE; Offered compensation will be adjusted for remote employees based on the cost of living and market rate in their area of residence.
The Audit & Attestation Division is looking for a dedicated Senior Audit Associate with a minimum of two (2) years of experience. This position provides room for advancement and growth in a fast-paced and challenging environment.

Senior Audit Associates at our firm . . .
Prepare financial statements with disclosures applying basic areas of GAAP as needed and documenting; validating testing and assessing various control systems;
Utilize their knowledge of GAAS principles and apply them to engagements;
Develop and apply their knowledge of auditing theory to various client situations;
Complete all appropriate documentation of work papers;
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory changes ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations;
Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure the successful completion of engagements;
Research accounting topics and form initial opinions; and
Participate in business development and networking opportunities.
To make it as part of our team Senior Audit Associate candidates should have . . .
2 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on external audit and assurance services;
A Bachelors degree in Accounting;
Strong knowledge of accounting controls and professional standards and regulations (GAAP GAAS etc);
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and provide recommendations for improvement;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team with a strong focus on customer service and support;
Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing; and
Be willing and able to travel within the greater San Francisco Bay Area for client fieldwork or other business-related needs as necessary.
