Job Description

Position: X-ray Technician
Location: Atlanta GA
Employment Type: Contract (Local or Travel)
Shift: Day Shift (Monday to Friday 8 hours per day)
Duration: 6 weeks
Schedule: No weekends holidays or on-call duties
Weekly Pay: $1600 - $1760

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking X-ray Technicianfor an exciting Travel or Local job in Atlanta GA.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic X-ray and fluoroscopic exams with high accuracy and quality following physician instructions and department guidelines.

  • Operate imaging equipment such as Phillips and CareStream systems.

  • Assess images for proper positioning exposure and technical quality.

  • Provide radiographic services in various settings including OR ED inpatient and portable X-ray.

  • Collaborate closely with radiologists and clinical staff to deliver timely and precise imaging.

  • Mentor radiology students conducting competency assessments as needed.

  • Maintain thorough documentation using EPIC and Sectra EMR systems.

  • Float between imaging departments within the facility as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience at a Level 1 Trauma Center or 2-3 years at a high-volume Level 2 Trauma Center.

  • Graduate of a JRCERT/ARRT-accredited radiologic technology program.

  • Current ARRT (R) certification.

  • Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

  • Skilled in general radiography and operating room imaging procedures.

  • Willingness to learn and support imaging for pediatric and neonatal patients.

  • Familiarity with EPIC EMR and Sectra PACS preferred.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative team approach.

  • Dependable adaptable and able to float across departments as needed.
