Job Description
Position: X-ray Technician
Location: Atlanta GA
Employment Type: Contract (Local or Travel)
Shift: Day Shift (Monday to Friday 8 hours per day)
Duration: 6 weeks
Schedule: No weekends holidays or on-call duties
Weekly Pay: $1600 - $1760
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking X-ray Technicianfor an exciting Travel or Local job in Atlanta GA.
Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic X-ray and fluoroscopic exams with high accuracy and quality following physician instructions and department guidelines.
Operate imaging equipment such as Phillips and CareStream systems.
Assess images for proper positioning exposure and technical quality.
Provide radiographic services in various settings including OR ED inpatient and portable X-ray.
Collaborate closely with radiologists and clinical staff to deliver timely and precise imaging.
Mentor radiology students conducting competency assessments as needed.
Maintain thorough documentation using EPIC and Sectra EMR systems.
Float between imaging departments within the facility as necessary.
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of experience at a Level 1 Trauma Center or 2-3 years at a high-volume Level 2 Trauma Center.
Graduate of a JRCERT/ARRT-accredited radiologic technology program.
Current ARRT (R) certification.
Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Skilled in general radiography and operating room imaging procedures.
Willingness to learn and support imaging for pediatric and neonatal patients.
Familiarity with EPIC EMR and Sectra PACS preferred.
Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative team approach.
Dependable adaptable and able to float across departments as needed.
