The Flight Avionics Department develops guidance section electronics architectures for development programs supports subsystem analyses integration and test provides program leadership as well as GPS/IMU support. We partner with several Electrical Engineering Departments that provide the detail designs of our electrical products. We are seeking entry-level candidates willing to collaborate innovate and team with our engineers to generate and utilize todays cutting-edge technology to develop electrical subsystems.

What You Will Do

  • Troubleshooting hardware and process issues down to CCA/component levels.
  • Failure analysis / root cause determination and corrective action implementation.
  • Performing analog and digital circuit analysis and characterizing and modeling electrical signals of electronics subsystems in simulation.
  • Identifying and instantiating circuit card and subassembly design updates.
  • Conducting integration & test at the subassembly level
  • Develop interconnect models between various subsystems.
  • Generate test procedures/plans and document test results
  • Generate and Present task results to small technical teams
  • Ability to work in either a team or individually
  • Potential travel to test areas for support/troubleshooting issues less than 10%
  • Able to lift 15 lbs

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Must be pursuinga Bachelors (or higher) degree in Electrical Engineering or relatedScience Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) major.
  • This position is for an intern who is enrolled in a Bachelors (or higher) degree program and will be at minimum entering their Sophomore by the start of summer 2026.
  • Basic lab or other experience with one or more of the following: RF analog digital mixed signal circuit design or analysis.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience with writing and/or executing test procedures.
  • Integration and test of electrical hardware/subsystems.
