Were looking for a Class 5 Truck Driver with roading and tipping experience to join our General Cartage Transport Team based out of Hewletts Road Mount Maunganui.
As a key member of our team youll be transporting asphalt construction and maintenance materials from our manufacturing plants to various construction projects throughout the Bay of Plenty.
This is a day shift role with hours from 6 am to 6 pm Monday to Friday with a minimum of 40 hours per week and the possibility of weekend work and night shifts as required by your manager.
In addition to the above you will:
Follow job briefs and instructions to ensure timely delivery of materials.
Build and maintain relationships with our valued stakeholders.
Conduct daily Vehicle Condition Reports (VCR) to ensure safety and compliance.
Maintain daily logbook (a basic understanding of technology is advantageous).
Be open to some manual labour duties at times.

Were looking for someone with:
A minimum Class 5 NZ drivers license.
Proven experience as a transport driver in civil construction or a similar field.
Experience in asphalt and paving deliveries.
Flexibility to work both day and night shifts.
A positive attitude towards the maintenance and care of machinery.
A strong understanding of and commitment to NZ Transport Regulations.
