Job Summary
Job Description:
Moments Hospice has an exciting opportunity for a Volunteer Coordinator to work in the field in the covering Miami-Dade and eventually Monroe County
Expectations:
Responsible to make introductions of volunteers to patients
Speaking engagements (1 per week)
35-40 touch points in the community per week
o Churches/Synagogues/Temples
o Senior Centers
o Rotary Clubs
o Civic Groups
o Groups such as Elks Club
o Colleges/Universities/Tech schools
o VFWs/American Legions
o Assisted and Independent Living facilities
o Other community organizations
Post flyers
Attend job fairs
Holding volunteer requirement events
Passing out recruitment materials
Must be available for evening and weekend activities (as required)
Expectation to be out in the community and not in office
Quota:
20 volunteer applications completed for assigned territory per month
At least 10% of applications must convert into an active volunteer.
Schedule:
