We are currently seeking aWarehouse Supervisor to join our team of leaders in our Syracuse New York distribution center.

KeyResponsibilities
As a vital role charged with the management of both people and processes theWarehouseSupervisorwill be responsible foroverseeing a wide variety of warehousingactivities including shipping/receiving and picking/ person will report directly to theWarehouseManager.
- Lead a team that covers theareas ofshipping/receivingand picking/packing/put-away
- Responsiblefortraining coachingplanningand assigning daily work ensuring safety rules and other policies/procedures are adhered to conducting performance appraisals addressing performance issues and resolving problems
- Meetwarehouse operational standards by contributing informationto strategic plans and reviewsimplementing productivity qualityand customer-service standards resolvingproblemsandidentifying warehouse system improvements
- Maintainwarehouseby keeping floor space organized adhere towarehousedesign principles and recommend improvement opportunities
- Keepequipment operating by enforcing operating instructions troubleshooting breakdowns handling preventive maintenance andcalling for repairs
- Stay up to date withjob knowledge by participating in educational opportunities

- Perform any otherrelatedduties assigned by immediate supervisor
- Position may require lifting/pushing/carrying items up to 50 pounds working around fumes airborne particles or toxic chemicals
What We AreLooking For
- Experience in a similarmanagementposition
- Strongleadershipand communicationskills
- Experience with inventory management cycle counting logistics forklift operation and warehouse management
- Key Performance Indicator (KPI) oriented well organized
- Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience
