CLINICAL ASSISTANT (15-month contract) Edmonton

Your tasks at a glance
  • You assist during the pre-op exams and fill the patients charts accurately.
  • You answerpatients questions and ensure the best service.
  • You work closely with Optometrists.
  • You conduct pre-operative and post-operative tests for patients.
  • You updatethe appointment system after every patients consultation.
  • You schedule and confirm post-operative appointments by telephone.
  • You will be cross-trained in Receptionist duties once your initial training is complete.

A clear view of your assets

  • You are comfortable with computers technology and Microsoft 365 (knowledge of EMR systems is an asset).
  • You have an interest in the medical field and have a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
  • You find it easy to connect with others and quickly build trust.
  • Your experience in the health care field is considered an asset (ex: medical assistant physiotherapy assistant optometry assistant orderly dental assistant pharmacy lab technician sterilization assistant animal health technician assistant veterinary assistant etc.).
  • You are looking for a fast-paced dynamic work environment where your ability to work in a team and excel at multi-tasking will be an asset.
  • Schedule:You have flexible work availability from Monday to Friday (8:00am - 5:00pm) with Saturdays on rotation.
  • Required:You are comfortable traveling between our LASIK MD South LASIK MD North West & King LASIK locations.
