The Role

The WTW Construction Safety Consultant will be assigned fulltime to the Memphis Airport Authority OCIP providing Construction Safety oversight of multiple Memphis Airport Authority construction projects. The job responsibilities below include some of the duties and is not intended to be all inclusive.

The Responsibilities

  • Participate in Contractor Pre-mobilization safety coordination meetings
  • Review & Comment on contractor JHA submittals
  • Review contractors PPE project risk needs assessment and consistency of use plan
  • Participate in project safety KPA development and performance measures
  • Monitor & Comment on contractor Competent Person submittals/qualifications
  • Be familiar with Project-Specific Crisis Management Plan and make recommendations for improvement as the project progresses.


Qualifications

The Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of commercial Construction Safety experience.
  • CHST or CSP Certification
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of project personnel
  • Computer skills to generate quarterly and Annual reports as needed.
  • Physically able to lift climb and work at heights as needed.
  • Ability to work off shifts as may be required from time to time.
  • Monitor Subcontractors for performance against the project Safety Requirements.
