Job Description:

To supervise and evaluate pharmaceutical services in an assigned area. To ensure pharmacy operations conform to all applicable internal and external regulations are fiscally sound and promote quality patient care. Provides pharmaceutical care as needed.

In this role you will work in collaboration with physicians clinic staff pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to provide excellent patient care for our primary care patients.

Collaborate with the primary care provider team to develop and maintain mediation management protocols and collaborative practice agreements that will be utilized by the Refill Center Pharmacy team

Work as the primary pharmacist to perform the tasks associated with refilling ad prescribing the appropriate medications per protocols and collaborative practice agreements

Work with pharmacy leadership to assist with program needs and to support growth

Perform ongoing evaluation and feedback for direct reports

Create and/or maintain policies and procedures specific to the practice area

Perform other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualities:

Collaborative Leadership Skills

Experience with protocol and process development

Motivated personality with attention to detail

Experience in an ambulatory care setting

Bachelors degree in Pharmacy and two (2) years of experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement. Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Licensed Pharmacist by the Alabama Board of Pharmacy (ALBOP) required.
