Location: Syracuse NY 13210
Type: Contract 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
Compensation: Travel Rate $2426.5/Week
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Respiratory Therapist for an exciting Travel job in Syracuse NY.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer positive pressure and aerosol therapies to patients.
- Initiate and monitor oxygen therapy and continuous ventilation support.
- Perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) during emergencies.
- Conduct pulmonary function testing and radial arterial punctures.
- Deliver comprehensive patient care in acute care settings with minimal orientation.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal respiratory support.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree (A.A.S.) in Respiratory Therapy.
- Current New York State Respiratory Therapist license/registration.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical acute care experience.
- Pediatric experience required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to successfully complete pre-employment health clearance.
