Job Description
Senior Manager-DC&TransporationChina
Key Responsibilities
- DC Operations Management
- Lead operational excellence in 3 Chinese DCs including warehouse management inventory accuracy and labor productivity.
- Implement process improvements to enhance throughput and reduce operational costs.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Transportation Coordination
- Manage inbound/outbound logistics for finished goods selecting carriers and optimizing routes for cost and efficiency.
- Monitor KPIs (on-time delivery freight costs) and resolve transportation disruptions proactively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales Procurement) to align logistics with demand forecasts.
- Team Leadership
- Develop and mentor local DC and transport teams fostering a high-performance culture.
- Drive digitalization initiatives (e.g. TMS/WMS adoption) to streamline operations.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5 years in logistics with 5 years in DC/transportation management in China.
- Skills: Proficiency in SAP/Oracle WMS strong analytical abilities and negotiation expertise with 3PL providers.
- Language: Fluent in English (written/spoken) and Mandarin.
- Education: Bachelors degree
