Job Summary
Overview
Element has an opportunity for a NDT - Fluorescent Penetrant Inspector (2nd shift) to perform Liquid Penetrant Testing using specific techniques on aerospace products. Uses knowledge of products manufacturing processes equipment set-up and NDT methods to process parts for inspection following specific operating procedures. Interprets and evaluates test results
Salary: $20- $25/hr DOE
Responsibilities
- Set-up operate calibrate and perform process control checks on NDT (Liquid Penetrant Test) equipment by following established instructions and record results
- Review procedures specifications drawings and other instructions for completeness with procedures and technical instructions to evaluate for welding machining etc.
- Interpret evaluate and report evaluation results as required
Skills / Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions data and details furnished in written oral diagram or schedule form
- Must meet DOT background check and medical requirements including drug screening
