Job Summary

Overview

Element has an opportunity for a NDT - Fluorescent Penetrant Inspector (2nd shift) to perform Liquid Penetrant Testing using specific techniques on aerospace products. Uses knowledge of products manufacturing processes equipment set-up and NDT methods to process parts for inspection following specific operating procedures. Interprets and evaluates test results

Salary: $20- $25/hr DOE

Responsibilities

  • Set-up operate calibrate and perform process control checks on NDT (Liquid Penetrant Test) equipment by following established instructions and record results
  • Review procedures specifications drawings and other instructions for completeness with procedures and technical instructions to evaluate for welding machining etc.
  • Interpret evaluate and report evaluation results as required

Skills / Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions data and details furnished in written oral diagram or schedule form
  • Must meet DOT background check and medical requirements including drug screening
