Overview:
THIS WORK MATTERS!
This role will administer the 1115 Medicaid Waiver Housing benefit program for clients who are receiving case management services from the County IDDSD Program or going through the IDDSD intake process. The purpose of this role is to administer the benefit program for IDD eligible clients through network coordination technical assistance quality assurance and program analysis. This is a limited-duration position that is scheduled to end on 08/31/2027 but can end at any time.
As the Limited Duration Program Technician 1115 Medicaid other duties will include:
Execute program administrative and operational needs specific to the 1115 Medicaid Waiver Housing Benefit; monitor and enforce program compliance for all applicants
Responsible for evaluation of qualification assignment of funds and implementation and/or the coordination of Medicaid 1115 Housing program activities
Act as a liaison between multiple service providers community-based organizations and additional partners ensuring effective communication and updates to relevant parties
Utilize specialized systems (e.g. UniteUS Velma MMIS) for documenting actions monitoring eligibility and progress and tracking client applications approvals and expenditures; documenting and monitoring actions taken on behalf of the IDDSD Program for Medicaid billable reimbursement
Collaborate with and share resources with other County Closed Loop Referral providers
Coordinate with stakeholders regarding overall program capacity for the County and external providers
Develop informational resources and materials; arrange and publicize meetings; schedule speakers; conduct workshops and training internallyand/or to community groups
Attend or create/lead meetings workshops and training sessions
Work directly with County and community partners landlords utility companies and clients (and their families) to problem-solve any technical issues payment errors or other barriers to accessing this benefit program
Support Program planning and documentation for a complex and highly visible Medicaid benefit program

Minimum Qualifications/Transferable Skills*:
Education/Training:
Equivalent to the completion of an Associate Degree from an credit college or university. Additional coursework in social science business or public administration statistics computer science or related field in desirable; And
Three (3) years of clerical office experience
Ability to promote a culture of respect inclusiveness and appreciation of diverse perspectives backgrounds and values
Must pass a criminal background check
