We are currently seeking exceptional individuals for our Aircraft Deicing Team(Seasonal) in Chicago IL!
**Individuals with military backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply! Strong consideration is given to applicants with military history.
The Aircraft Deicing Agent is responsible for removing ice from the aircraft. The individual in this position inspects the aircraft for ice and will be responsible for spraying the aircraft with deicing fluid(glycol)

Responsibilities:
- Ensure a safe environment during the deicing operation and make sure all company policies and procedures are being followed
- Uphold and follow the duties related to deicing aircraft according to procedures for both the airlines and Flightcheck including inspecting aircraft
- Participate in all deicing training events
- Ensure proper shutdown of equipment including paperwork and logbooks
- Ensure that all maintenance issues have been logged and reported to maintenance and all proper shutdown procedures for the equipment are followed.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Intermediate computer skills
- Maintain and treat all information as confidential
- Must be able to read write understand and carry out instructions in English
- Successful completion of all Flightcheck classroom and deicing training;
- Must be able to speak and hear efficiently
- Must have a valid drivers license
- Successful completion of the airport badging or background check process required for this location.
Workplace environment:
- Potential exposure to fumes or airborne particles toxic chemicals and moving mechanical parts.
- Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and extreme heat. You will often be exposed to various weather elements.
- The noise level in the work environment is typically loud.
