Job Description
Leidos has an opportunity for a UX/IX Designer to support the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Outcome-based Delivery and DevSecOps Services (ODOS) IV proposal and program. As part of the team you will participate in solution development and technical demonstrations to support a winning proposal. This role will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver Section 508-compliant user-centered designs for enterprise applications. The designer will apply best practices in UX/IX research prototyping and design to ensure intuitive and accessible solutions for USCIS mission applications.
Primary Responsibilities:
Participate in solution development and technical demonstrations to support a winning proposal.
Design prototype and validate user interfaces for enterprise applications.
Conduct generative and evaluative research to inform UX/IX design decisions.
Collaborate with developers engineers and business analysts to ensure designs align with business and technical requirements.
Develop and maintain style guides patterns and design artifacts for enterprise consistency.
Ensure Section 508 compliance in all user interfaces and support Trusted Tester validation requirements.
Utilize tools such as Figma HTML and CSS to build prototypes and support user testing.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree (or equivalent additional years of experience).
Minimum of 8 years of IT experience focusing on development projects.
At least 3 years of experience in architecture and design of UX/IX for enterprise applications.
Strong understanding of interaction design theories and methodologies.
Experience with prototyping tools (Figma HTML/CSS).
Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
DHS Section 508 Trusted Tester certification.
Experience designing enterprise-level services within federal IT programs.
Familiarity with Agile development processes.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $104650.00 - $189175.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job education experience knowledge skills and abilities as well as internal equity alignment with market data applicable bargaining agreement (if any) or other law.
