Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and personable bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages to guests maintaining a clean and organized bar and delivering excellent customer service. The bartender should have strong knowledge of cocktails beer wine and spirits along with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and take drink and food orders in a friendly and efficient manner
- Mix garnish and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to recipes and customer preferences
- Maintain knowledge of bar menu items specials and promotions
- Check customer identification to ensure legal drinking age compliance
- Manage cash credit and other payment transactions accurately
- Keep the bar area clean stocked and organized (including glassware garnishes and supplies)
- Monitor and manage guest behavior to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment
- Follow all food safety sanitation and responsible alcohol service guidelines
- Assist with bar inventory restocking and supply ordering as needed
- Collaborate with servers kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications:
- Previous bartending or hospitality experience preferred
- Knowledge of mixology beer wine and spirits
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math and cash-handling skills
- Must meet the legal age requirement to serve alcohol
- Availability to work evenings weekends and holidays as required
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs (cases of liquor beer kegs etc.)
- Frequent bending reaching and repetitive motions
