Description

Ford Racing seeks a highly experienced and driven Engineering Program Supervisor to lead our growing Heritage & Restoration programs.

In this position

This pivotal role demands proven leadership skills an understanding of motorsports and a passion for classic Ford vehicles. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all technical & engineering aspects of heritage projects from customer support to new product development and homologation.

This role requires 5 days on-site in Allen Park MI. Travel including weekends is also required.



Responsibilities

What youll do

  • Project Management:Lead multiple concurrent projects ensuring timely and successful delivery within budget and to the highest quality standards. This involves managing internal and external teams partners and suppliers
  • Strategic Planning & Execution:Support the business teams development and implementation of a comprehensive strategy to maximize opportunities within the heritage and restoration sector. This includes defining clear technical objectives project strategies and a compelling vision for the team and stakeholders.
  • Engineering Leadership: Manage and collate any necessary CAD arrange engineering test facilities or requirements manage any rapid manufacturing requirements to deliver projects.
  • Stakeholder Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders engineering resources including customers global motorsports teams external partners governing bodies and internal engineering groups.
  • Homologation & Regulatory Compliance:Oversee homologation processes ensuring compliance with relevant road or motorsport regulations and authorities.
  • Financial Management:Develop and manage budgets track project financials and provide regular status reports to senior management.
  • Team Leadership:Mentor and motivate team members fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Innovation:Proactively identify and pursue new opportunities to enhance the heritage and restoration business.


Qualifications

Youll have

  • Bachelors degree in Automotive Engineering or a related field.
  • 5 years of relevant experience in program management preferably within the automotive or motorsport industry.

  • Proven experience leading and delivering complex projects across multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Passion for our products and keen interest in heritage vehicles
  • Excellent communication and relationship skills ability to quickly build trust and establish credibility.
  • Demonstrated expertise in motorsport or road homologation processes and regulations.
  • Strong leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and budget management.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Willingness to travel internationally and domestically including weekends.
  • Valid passport required.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to adapt to requested schedules as needed
