QA Engineer (WZ-384818)

We are seeking a QA Engineer to join our long-term product development project with one of our largest partners. Founded in 2003 our company has grown into a 120-person employee- and manager-owned organization with a stable business and financial background serving more than 50 returning corporate clients. We develop and implement applications to address business challenges and provide long-term operational support. Our strongest differentiator is business process automation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Testing Tasks: During your daily work you will test our custom-developed business applications to ensure we deliver the highest quality systems to our customers. Your goal is to meet both functional and non-functional expectations supported by documented testing during handover. This includes on a day-to-day basis:
  • Actively participating in the validation of User Stories
  • Contributing to planning functional non-functional and regression testing.
  • Creating test cases and test scenarios based on specifications.
  • Evaluation documentation and reporting of testing in Azure DevOps.
  • Contributing to error management and change management processes.
  • UAT testing support.
  • Collaborating with business analysts and developers.
  • Working with test automation engineers.
• Documentation and Correspondence: Document testing results during execution. Any errors must be documented on the project board and relevant test scenarios must be updated if changes occur. Documentation is primarily in Hungarian sometimes in English.

Requirements:

• Higher education in the IT field.
• 4-5 years of experience as a manual tester.
• Software Testing Experience: You have participated in the delivery of complex business software and have performed functional testing during the implementation and UAT support period.
• Complex Vision: As a tester you must primarily be able to determine whether the tested system operates according to business expectations. This is crucial when preparing test cases and performing tests. An intelligent tester is essential for effective testing.
• Thorough Work: This task requires thoroughness and precision. We need patient and meticulous individuals who aim to deliver a high-quality product rather than just completing a task quickly.
• Methodological Approach: In our projects we often create commercially critical systems for a wide range of users. These users work in diverse business areas organizational units and have different IT practices. We expect you to understand and apply various methodologies in your work. You should have practical experience and/or theoretical knowledge of Agile methodology.
• Teamwork: While individual precision is essential this role also involves true teamwork. Development occurs in project teams and collaboration with developers and business analysts is necessary through daily consultations.
• English Language Skills: In addition to Hungarian you must be advanced in English as some projects require English for documentation and customer communication.

It is nice if you have the following skills:

• MS-SQL.
• Experience in Azure DevOps.
• ISTQB qualification.
