Job Title: Senior Automation Designer - Mechanical
Location: Location - Cambridge Ontario Canada

Experience 8 to 10 years
Job Description:
- 7 years of experience as an Automation Engineer
- 4 Medical industry/domain is mandatory or Electrical Electronics Component Manufacturing also may be acceptable (should be the latest experience)
- 8 years of working experience of common machine shop techniques.
- 6 years experience in Solid Works mandatory
- Must have experience with Line-Automation (design & install special purpose machine (SPM)
- Mandatory experience with manufacturing automation domain (3 years at least)
- Must have a thorough knowledge and hands-on experience of drafting principles.
- 2 years experience in AutoCAD
- A thorough knowledge of the use of pneumatics and hydraulics. A thorough knowledge of the use of electrical devices (i.e. switches load cells LVDTs etc.).
- Must be capable of designing tooling from sketches or verbal concepts.
- Review electrical requirements with respect to input and output devises with electrical designers.
- Assist the fabricators machinists toolmaker and electricians in the debug integration resolving problems and completion of systems.
- Strictly follow CSA N285 / NQA Quality requirements
- Organize documentation including quotes drawing registers correspondence requisitions drawings schedules etc. on projects you are supervising.
- Perform engineering calculations with respect to strength of materials speeds horsepower temperature pressure force etc. as related to machine and tool designs
- Provide design support related to construction of CSA B51 and CSA N285.0
Compensation: $80000.00 - $90000.00 per year
