Job Summary
TEKHQS is looking for an experienced and dynamic to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have 2.5 to 3 years of hands-on experience in manual testing focusing on ensuring the functionality performance and security of APIs and database systems.
:. Develop and execute manual test cases for API and Database systems ensuring functionality performance and security.. Conduct thorough API testing using tools like Postman SoapUI or Database testing to verify data integrity database queries and stored procedures.. Validate API responses ensure error handling is proper and perform load testing for APIs.. Collaborate with developers to identify report and track defects throughout the development lifecycle.
:. 3-4 years of experience as a Manual QA Engineer with a focus on API and Database Testing.. Strong knowledge of API testing using tools such as Postman Swagger SoapUI or similar.. Experience with Database testing (e.g. validating data testing SQL queries stored procedures.. Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.. Proficiency in SQL and ability to write complex queries for database validation.. Experience in writing and executing test plans test cases and documenting defects.. Familiarity with bug tracking tools like JIRA or similar.. Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with development teams.
