This is a temporary outage lasting 3 days. Starts on 10/20/2025.

$100 per diem will be paid. Must live 60 miles or further from the facility.

Maintenance Technician

The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for providing electrical and mechanical services to support the needs of production and ensure safe operation of the plant. Experiences and knowledge with maintaining industrial equipment (reactor blending vessel dryer heat exchanger vacuum pump) packaging equipment (blister bottle box label pouch sealer wrap box) and/or automated equipment (robotic HMI PLC) are desirable. The Industrial Maintenance Technician is also responsible for conducting Preventative Maintenance work including the review and evaluation of its cost-effectiveness and addition the Industrial Maintenance Technician will be working closely with the Engineering to implement continuous improvement initiatives and install new equipment.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Knowledgeable in all aspects of production plan maintenance including electrical & instrumentation pneumatics utilities (chiller compressed air hot water hot oil and LNC) pumps reactors rotary equipment pressure vessels conveyors etc.
  • Maintain and repair mechanical equipment systems and processes to meet requirements applying knowledge of mechanical principles.
  • Preventative maintenance and routine maintenance of equipment and facility systems.
  • Specify system components or direct modification of products to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications.
  • Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation and to make recommendations.
  • Confer with management and other personnel to implement operating procedures and resolve system malfunctions.
  • Plan and installation of machinery and parts in line with design plans and timescales.
  • Performs minor electrical maintenance including but not limited to replacement or repair of fixtures industrial and electrical control equipment and components
  • Must be able to perform work wearing personnel protective equipment. Including but not limited to the following: rain gear chemical protective clothing supplied air and air purifying respirators safety harness sand blast hoods fire resistant coveralls hard hat ear plugs and safety glasses.
  • While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to have full range of mobility in upper and lower body able to reach overhead able to work in various positions including but not limited to stooping standing bending over sitting kneeling squatting; use hands to handle or feel objects tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; work at heights; balance for extended periods of time.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required for this Position:

Education no minimum education requirements.

Experience 3-5 years of Journeyman level experience.

Must be able to pass drug screen and background check as a condition of employment.
