Software Technologist

A highly skilled Backend Developer with strong experience in building scalable APIs and services along with a solid understanding of AWS infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining backend systems while ensuring seamless integration with cloud-native services.

Your role:

• Design develop and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.

• Write clean testable and efficient code in languages such as Python or Java.

• Collaborate with product frontend and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end features.

• Work with AWS services (EC2 Lambda S3 RDS DynamoDB API Gateway EventBridge SQS SNS CloudWatch etc.) to build and deploy applications.

• Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines (CodePipeline CodeBuild GitHub Actions etc.).

• Ensure application security performance and reliability.

• Manage and optimize infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.

• Debug troubleshoot and monitor applications in production environments.

• Contribute to architecture discussions and propose solutions aligned with best practices.

Youre the right fit if:

• 5 years of backend development experience

• Strong knowledge of server-side programming ( Python or Java).

• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs GraphQL or gRPC.

• Solid understanding of AWS infrastructure & services (EC2 Lambda RDS DynamoDB API Gateway etc.).

• Familiarity with cloud-native application design and event-driven architecture.

• Experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL).

• Knowledge of authentication & authorization (OAuth2 JWT Cognito IAM).

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies (Blue/Green Canary).

• Proficiency in using IaC tools (Terraform / CloudFormation).

• Strong debugging problem-solving and communication skills.

Good to Have

• Experience with microservices architecture.

• Exposure to containerization (Docker ECS EKS Kubernetes).

• Knowledge of observability tools (CloudWatch Prometheus Grafana ELK).

• Familiarity with serverless frameworks.

• Understanding of DevOps/SRE practices.

• AWS Certifications such as:

• AWS Certified Developer Associate

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate/Professional

• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional
